Check the SoundDiver list here at Yahoo! Groups - there are threads 
of users with SD working under Classic in OS X but I'm uncertain to 
what degree they have achieved success using their hardware w/ OMS 
and legacy devices, i.e., serial port MIDI Interface, or whether they 
are simply using the dynamic link between SD and Logic.

I couldn't make that freeware GeeThree serial port driver work w/ OS 
X and a serial port interface but I've read that others have. More 
trouble than it's worth, IMO unless you have much vested in your 
hardware set-up.
