The Chameleon is a 1U rack unit with a whole mess of DSP inside and 24-bit
I/O, that can be configured to do anything the DSP can handle, simply by
uploading a new OS into the box via MIDI. The different OSes for it, called
SoundSkins, include multi-effects processing, a drumbox/bassbox combo with
sequencer, a vocoder, a polysynth, and more are on the way. I have one here in
my office and am still getting into it. For more data:
