I think it useful to have _some_ OT discussion as it provides an opportunity for list members to evaluate the tools they've been using (AN1x, for example) in comparison to the current trends (mini Keyboard controllers and Softsynth) as there is much overlap in features. However, the redundant posts of specs of MIDIMAN stuff is over the top...a simple link to the MIDIMAN or Evolution web sites would suffice. Thank you. Jon p.s. - my vote goes to the microKorg (Knobs, Pads, sliders, X/Y Pad) and the Edirol boards...not big on the MIDIMAN stuff.
