If you want a "live" AN1x list, post stuff about the AN1x or the
AN200 or the PLG150AN. Not about MIDI controllers or poly aftertouch
or MIDI bandwidth or whatever. The whole idea of list focus is so
that people get what they want from a given list without having to
wade through topics that are irrelevant. And as interesting as this
last topic has been, it is IRRELEVANT to the discussion of the
aforementioned Yamaha analog-modeling synths.

The Gearhead list was set up exactly to drift around into many
different electronic music gear topics like this one, so that's why I
wish to take it there. If you were to insist that it was okay to talk
about sewing on a race-car list, the moderator would ban you. Poly
aftertouch and USB have as much to do with the AN1x as sewing has to
do with race cars.
