well, i guess i have verified it, but who knows? maybe there's some 
parameter that i didn't see? what settings would you be checking? so 
far i looked at both Rx and Tx channel settings plus the device id. 
midi channels are both set to "1", device id is set to "all".

PLUS: as i mentioned in the first place, bulk reception of patches 
works like a breeze using SoundDiver or Cubase. it's only an1xedit 
where i'm having those problems.
