yup, i was thinking of using something like MIDI YOKE or MIDI OX to 
record the Midi data stream, hoping to find the reason for this 
behaviour. unfortunately, i don't see myself as a Mdid expert, and I'm 
afraid i might observe something that i don't have an interpretation 
for. but then, on the other hand, there's this magnificent list... :-)
