Hi all, thanks for sharing your ideas. > I'd HAd Many Problems Like That With A Fast MIDI Interface (Edirol), I Cant > Make Midi DUMP Or Send Sysex Data Cause The Midi Interface Is Too Fast. So I > Just Use A Slower One (Midisport 4x4) And It Works Sweet. that's exactly my impression: it is like different serial data streams getting into trouble with each other. strange thing about that problem is that obviously only AN1xEdit seems to have those problems. could it be that the program is sending commands too fast too soon, like: "hey synth, send me patch #1, hey synth, send me patch #2, oops, here comes patch #1, hey synth, send me..., oops, here comes patch #2 - don't know where to put it- HELP!" currently i use the one and only midi interface that comes with my sblive (1xIn, 1xOut). but as you speak about it i remember that there must be a Motu 4x2 for a parallel port lying around somewhere in my rehearsal area. I'll try that and see if it helps (maybe even SBLive Out ==> AN1x In, and AN1x Out ==> MOTU In?). I'll keep posting any results Greetings, - Lothar -
