Re: [AN1x] An1x & cubase

and BTW .. regarding settings on AN-1x..
"
 Key TX = 2
  Arp TX = 2
  Rx1 = 2
  Rx2 = 2
  Device = 2
  V.FX = Off
"

at least change DEVICE number to "ALL" .. this needs to be changed only if you've got Several AN-1x's which you need to be able to edit by AN1xEdit. (like one is Device 1 and another An-1x is Device 2)..
I am not sure , but I remember something about the fact that you can send Patches to An-1x successfuly only if its Dev.No is the same as the Dev.No. of unit from which the patches were recieved in the first place..
After typing this, I remembered that it refers to sending patches via Sysex Dump from sequencer, but not from AN-1xEdit, I suppose.

  Hi Ray,
  Thankyou for your adivise,I will go through the setup.You mentioned that the AN1X device parameters should be kept to default settings of 1, its just that i have a DX150 PLG board conected to my sw1000, so thats why I set the an1x settings to 2.
  However, I will attempt as you have recomended.I will let you know if there is something I do not understand.
  Please for give me, I hope Iam not bothering you, its just that I have recenlty bought my new hardware synths,as I was initially software based.And I have had difficulty how everything works and comes together, especilly when there are synth editors invovled.
  Do you know if the M-Audio midisport 8x8 has multi client drivers for XP?
  I have reaserched about midex,apparently they have a sysex problem & multi client drivers have had a few problems in XP.
  I will keep you informed of my progress
