Carrier Frequency Bleedthrough demonstrates what a ring modulator 
does. The wall of distortion is the ginky anemic EMU Vintage Keys toy 
piano patch run through a home made Craig Anderton designed ring 
modulator.The AN1X ring modulator is fun, but it just doesn't get 
that weird. This was recorded on an 8 track cassette recorder

Ring has some percussion and sweeps from the AN1X plus some 
interesting sounds from a friend's ARP 2600. The wind and some of the 
noise drops are the ARP.This was recorded on Cool Edit Pro. The ARP 
sounds came from a friend's electronic music lab he had in the late 
70s. He took his reel to reel tape collection and transferred it to 
CD.  He had to bake them in the oven before he recorded them onto CD 
because the tapes were falling apart.

Rain shows you how much fun you can have with tape loops. Nowadays 
with computers and everything else, no one goes through the trouble 
of setting up actual tape loops, but you get 2 or 3 of these going 
you can get some wild sounds. This song is pre-AN1x, thinking of 
setting up the equipment again, this time with AN1X.This was also 
recorded on an 8 track cassette recorder.
