You might want to look into Midi Quest. It is an editor/librarian program for over 600 synths and it runs as a vst plug-in. It looks really cool. You can also create custom control panels for all your synths with it to control them on screen in Cubase. You might also want to look at getting a midi-sport 8x8 to route your midi.
