The AN1x is not an 'XG Compatible' device from the standpoint that 
the soundset complies with the XG standard. Furthermore, it does not 
offer the built in microtuning tables that are found on many other 
instruments. However, your description of the Scale Table in XGWorks 
is much as I expected - I don't see why it couldn't be applied to a 
non-XG instrument as readily as a XG module. Perhpas I've 
misunderstood...I know Cubase offers a similar function and there was 
a related discussion on the Logic Users list some months ago - 
although I've not made use of this in either program.
