I updated to the latest version (which might actually Be v1.04), and found no differences, good or bad.  I don't believe that anything in the upgrade that addresses bulk data dumps.

The problem that you are referring to with AN1xEdit is more likely a computer issue than an AN1x issue.  The problem is that the AN1x sends a lot of data during bulk dumps (over 250K), and most MIDI interfaces work on the assumption that everything just gets there.  On a 10K bulk dump, this almost always works out; on a 250K dump, there's a possibility of something going amiss.  It seems to be worse with USB interfaces, but that's not a scientific assessment.
