Hi everyone, Thanks for your help so far. I've been really busy in the last few days, so haven't had any time to open up the AN1x and see if there's a lot of dust inside. I might get time this week, but I'm doing some freelance work at the moment, and it's taking up a lot of time (and my girlfriend is taking up the rest of it)! I have (and have always used) the standard power supply that came with my AN1x when I bought it. I don't have the necessary equipment to test the power supply here, so I'll have to wait until I go home for christmas (my dad has some testing equipment that I can probably use). I'm still fairly sure it's a heat-related problem (just because of the way it takes time before the first reboot happens, but then reboots continually until I turn it off for half an hour or so). This still seems (to me) that it's a heat related problem, otherwise why does the AN1x not reboot until it has been switched on for a little while, and why does it continually reboot until it is switched off? Actually, I just remembered that before the rebooting problem happened, the first thing I noticed wrong was that the sound from the right channel seemed to have gone completely. Further checking revealed that it was there, but very faintly and distorted. I thought it might be the audio cable, so I tried everything I could think of to check that (different cable, different mixer channel, etc). The sound was fine from the headphone jack, but was not working properly from the main outputs. Anyway, a factory reset seemed to sort things out (but maybe it was because I switched it off for a while too?) so I didn't worry about it any more. This was just a few days before the rebooting started, and I had almost forgotten about it. Sorry I didn't reply sooner - I've just been trying to find enough time to open up the AN1x, but it never came about. I'll get back to you as soon as I manage to solve the problem (or get stuck again)! Cheers for your help so far, and if I do end up having to put a heatsink on the AN1x, I'll document it online somewhere. ~Dave -- Dave Silvester Music Technology Junkie Web: http://www.mu-sly.co.uk/ Email: sly at mu hyphen sly dot co dot uk ICQ: 165159988
