Check the power supply. First, if you're not using a model reffered 
in the manual do it or, at least, be sure to buy a good PS with 20% 
excess current.

Most probably the heating problem is occurring in the PS. Some 
component gets hot, the voltage or current drops down and AN1x 
reboots. I got this exactly same rebooting behaviour with my Novation 
Nova and the PS was the problem. Just bougth a new one and the blue 
beast is back. ;^)
