Please read this thread: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/message/5823 Modern keyboard mechanisms typically contain few parts servicable by the average keyboard player. IMO, you should seek out an authorized Yamaha service center http://www.yamaha.com/service.htm. I'm uncertain if you're the original owner of your AN1x but if not, you probably have little info to determine how well the previous owner maintained his equipment. User abuse may or may not have exceeded the norm.
