The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Thanks to everyone for the information on fixing my AN1X. How hard is 
it to change the storage battery? There's a keyboard tech a hundred 
miles from here(I live way out in the woods)  who charges $50.00 to 
do this and usually takes a week or two to get to it. He changed the 
storage battery on my Korg DW 6000 (awful machine)and my Siel DK600. 
Neither one worked well after and both died totally within a month.

I'll have to buy a USB midi connection and bring the synth over to a 
friend's house. My computer can barely check email before crashing.

Maybe after Christmas.
