Hi Stuart, >I think I am the newest user of the An1x in the world at the moment. >I have just bought one for $950 Australian Dollars. Its in mint >condition and was in an elderly english couples home who used it to >play organ with. Congratulations on your new purchase! >I am going to use it as my master keyboard as I am new to music >production and thought this would be a decent sound generator as well >as controller keyboard. I am in debt now and cannot buy anything >else for a while although am stoked to have this machine!!! The Annie is a great sound generator, but only dual-timbral. It's also a decent master keyboard; not quite up to the likes of a Roland A-90 or such, but flexible enough for many needs. Some players have complained about the feel of the keyboard, but I quite like it. The eight knobs can be programmed to any MIDI CC#, as well as the pedal inputs. I find that it's best to use it with local off, with the selector knob at the bottom, which gives immediate access to the Rx and Tx channels, bulk dumps, etc. Alternately, there is a setting that gives access to most of the arpeggiator and sequencer settings.
