Bruce,

There has been interesting threads on the DP list about people's experience
with DP (Digital Performer) crashing frequently- and VERY VERY drastic
measures and instructions have been suggested- but none of them have
worked....apart from *one*.

A single solution (and no I'm not going to lecture you about the iToilet:)))
hahaha)- "Preferences"- well that's what they are called in Apple speak- the
preferences of each bit of software on the (Apple)PC. I'm not familiar with
PC's (Windows) but is there anyway that you can trash your individual
software 'preferences'??- other than that, it looks like it's gonna be an
upgrade?

Well..... the new Cubase SX (apparently) is very solid in XP- but as a Mac
user, I'm only going on what friends/ the media have told me. I rekon
anything's worth trying once- and if you don't like it (XP) you can always
return to 98SE at a later date.

Good Luck!
