We ALL KNOW how easy it would be to fall off the wagon. After all "one little soft synth neve hurt anybody" ;-) I love my new ES1, BTW :-P I found a cool little patch randmoizer on Swiftkick.com that actually produces decent results! > But, man did I love the interface of the OB12.... It sounded ok (from what I could tell in the lousy store environment), but it sure seemed fun to work with. So, should I replace my CS1x or AN1x with it? I really don't have room for another set of keys after all. I'm not convinced at this point..... > You should go back shortly after opening time before the store is flooded with customers. You can usually get a good listen in. And I agree - the interface to the OB12 is VERY nice and I kind of liked the sound too. What store is having the online blowout on the OB12? Sam Ash? Musicians Friend? zZounds? Since you don't *really* get into the AN1x I can understand parting with it - finding a buyer shouldn't be too hard. I've always thought the CS1x is a fun little keyboard but those sounds have been rehashed how many times in more recent, better sounding Yamaha gear? Get rid of both and find a CS6x Rackmount on blowout with a PLG150AN card AND an OB12.Ha! > So much for my 12 step program to kick the gearlust habit... :-( > > Sayer > It not a habit. Medical Science has proven gearlust to be genetically coded in our DNA. That's MY story and I'm sticking to it... Jon
