I had my eye open for one when I stumbled upon a deal for 128x (big brother to the 64x and 64xtc.) The significant differene between the 64x and xtc models are the SMPTE read/write options. I don't know if this is important to you - I don't have any need to sync to video or stand alone DAW equipment so I never use those features. In regards to your earlier question on the MOTU MicroExpress - is that the serial port only versionor the combination USB/Serial port model? I know that the early USB version used a different subset of the USB protocol for error correction then the Opcode/ MIDIman, and Roland (Edirol) models but I can't recall anybody saying it was any improvement. I'd hit a MOTU list and search the archives... Jon
