I just recorded some AN1x. I set the tempo to 150 for three atmospheric patches, to get a nice rhythmic feel. Then I recorded three Vintage Keys patches, run on the three arpeggiator patterns. So that's three arpeggios and six different patches, each of the patches has lots of modulaton sources. They line up nicely because they're all the same tempo. Now we're cutting and pasting on Acid for a collage sound. Layered, it sounds pretty intense. We're going to add some ReBirth weirdness and some found sounds and write one heck of a strange song. By the way, the most intense spectral analysis pictures I've seen yet are for patches with nearly runaway feedback on the delay. The analysis looks almost plaid.
