Here's what I've been playing with lately. I'll get a real wild patch on The AN1X (dual mode for all sorts of craziness)and arpeggiate that. I sync the free eg to the arpegiator. With the MIDI out, I've got my Vintage Keys also arrpegiating. I usually shut a few of the keys off on the Vintage Keys so it's not playing everytime with the AN1X. I also put a rhythmic echo on the AN1X for the same reason. I usually put a really sustaining patch with a lot of sample and hold LFO on the pitch on one instrument. On the other, I try to get something a little more percussive. I'm looking for sounds that evolve, as the arpeggiator can get boring. I get both of those going, then I play along on the melodica. Sounds like a complete, albeit very weird, band. The cats and my wife are very patient. Rainbow Jimmy http://www.spaceanimals.com http://www.mp3.com/spaceanimals
