OT: Seeking remix talent.

2001-11-25 by mattias.karlsson@satcom101.com

Hi all fellow An1x owners.

Excuse this off topic but I thought I might find what I'm looking for
here. You see, my band and me are looking for people interested in
remix our tracks.

The story is this: The label we're on ( www.raezor.com ) attends a
lot of tradeshows during spring, aiming to license out tracks and
mixes for release in different countries. We've promised to deliver
some new tracks but time is running out for us.

So we thought we'd supply them with some funky remixes instead.

That's where you come in. If you manage to make an interesting remix,
regardless of style, then chances are it will be pitched at
tradeshows this spring.

At www.mp3.com/satcom101 we have seven tracks (the top seven ones)
that are available in remix kits.

If you are interested in remixing one of them let me know at:
mattias@... and I'll supply you with a download link for
the kits.

We have extensive remix kits (30-80 samples each and midi files)
since I myself just hate remixing without access to all the little
bits from the original. You never know which part that's the most
interesting, right?

You may choose to remix any song and make it any style. The aim this
time isn't to back up a single release but actually creating
something interesting using the available bits. Something that might
raise interest for compilations etc.

Have a listen and maybe give it a chance. Could be fun.
