HI Sorry, for the OT, but I need to buy a hard disk recording solution. I am leaning towards the MOTU 24i and 1224 (or 2408) because I have lots of analog outputs from my synths that I want to record in realtime to my computer. Or does anyone have other suggestions for lots of analog inputs to be fed into a hard disk recording system or Macintosh G4? Originally I was set on a DSP factory, but there's not enough analog inputs. Or do I have to spend crazy money on a digital mixing board? Also, I was wondering if anyone knew about a MOTU 2496 model? I have heard about them, but there's nothing on their website (just a MOTU 1296) and I haven't had a response from their sale department. Lots of questions, so maybe you can reply with examples of setups, perhaps even the way that YOU have set up all your synths for recording. Any help or advice is appreciated. Please email me off list to avoid others getting upset with OT, unless you have something to say that other AN!x users might be interested, in this subject. Thanks! -Jaish [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
