Welcome to the list.
Why do you think the AN1x sounds not as good as the uQ? To my ears 
their were sonically completely different. The uQ sharper, ok with 
those five oscillators, my grandma could do fat basses...;)..but 
otherwise i think the AN1x competes nicely with all the other VA´s 
out there. 
I guess you need to listen to some of the patches off the list. I 
recommend to start with the "best of"-bank first.
The JDLX-banks are also quite nice (good job, Jon!).
