Under the VCA parameter group, go to Assign Knob 6 'Volume' 
and check the setting. Also, be aware that the Velocity Sensing 
for the patch is set at a modestly high value of +36 meaning the 
timbre will be noticeably affected by how hard or soft the voice is 
played.
