Hm, i think the RS7000 with it´s sampled sounds get along well with 
the AN1x, as well as the XBase09 and the FS1r. I ordered a Clavia 
MicroModular today, so i hope this one will go along as well. What do 
you think?

I also had a Korg Electribe R, and really this one did not go so well 
sonically with the AN1x, in my ears. But as Bas(s)tiaan :) already 
said, a matter of taste.
The interface of the ER1 was superb. I never used the manual.
