The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Well, i think it's bit that jp8000/an1x debate...it's all a matter of tast if you like the nova or the virus better. BUT since this is an an1x list we shoudl ask ouselves: which is the best companion to the an1x? If I had the jp8000 (warm, polished) i think the virus would have been the best companion with it's diverse sonic palette. For the an1x (upfront, wide spectrum) the nova makes a great machine for fatter, warmer more polished sounds to back the an1x with. At least that's how I see it.
