This is conspicuously similar to the behavior exhibited with the "old" problem of audible 'popping and clicking' sound at start- up - until the unit reached a normal operating temperature (jokes and comparison to a REAL analog will ensue...) I'm speculating, i.e., not fact - just opinion, that the problem with your AN1x is related to the other known problem. Of course, I could be wrong. ;-) Did you reinitialize your AN1x as suggested? This has been known to clear seemingly random acts of strange behavior in the AN1x. Isn't the key command '7+8+9' while powering the unit up? Then it should prompt you with a selection of init options - just choose ALL and reply YES. Peter K. - if you're following this thread - what was the weirdness your AN1x displayed.
