Did you find a solution? I've not used an RM1x but was under the 
impression it could store and transfer SysEx files for external gear. 
Possibly I'm mistaken... Check the Reference Manual for 'Storage' 
or 'System Exclusive' - there undoubtly a disk handling chapter in 
there somewhere. Here's an RM1x 'site you may alreay know of:
