First of all , there are many synths which don't have effects onboard at all ... Imagine AN-1x as one - do you want to sya that in that case it is a worthless thingy ? Many people just use the outboard FX racks and don't even try the 'cheap'-sounding built-in (I am not speaking about my own experience here as I love the quality of Chorus/Delay kind of FX on AN-1x) ... Yes , An-1 is NOT a fully 2-multi instrument but it gives you a CHANCE to run in 2multi mode... As you wish ... You may forget and just use 2nd scene for morphing stuff.
