Hm, strange. I don´t have problems at all. Seems like that the MIDI-
out on your SB doesn´t work, or as i already said, check the cables.

So the MIDI-In on your soundcard works, but it seems not the MIDI-
out. Have you tried to play a simple MIDI-file on your AN1x with a
sequencer?
