  I don't sync-  I just play the pads live.  Granted, an Octopad 
would be much easier (larger pads) but until I find one for sale 
locally I'll have to fingerpunch it.  We've been kicking around the 
idea of using more live percussion on stage, so maybe I should skip 
getting the DX200 and go for an Octopad right away...
