Jon, Thanks for the response! I really don't know what's up with the editor... I'm running a PC (P2, 233mHz, 96M RAM) and the editor works perfectly fine if I use patches stored on my computer. I just can't upload from the synth to the computer. I'm using a basic joystick port --> midi in and midi out split cable. I've tried using the editor with a laptop that had USB --> midi box and that didn't work either. My friend gave me the program and it works fine with his AN1X...he uses the same laptop to edit. I made sure the transmit and receive channels on the synth were set to "1" and that the device no. was set to "all". The "Receive Error" message only appears on the computer. As far as the version of the AN1x, I don't know...how can I figure that out? Can you both provide more background info on your respective set-up's, i.e., Windows or Mac, what MIDI Interface are you using and which version of AN1x?
