Hi Joergen
I have to disagree with you here,
To me the Pulse is as phat as they come.
I owned almost every synth on this planet in my 25 years 
as a pro musician/engineer and The Pulse is so phat on the bass
where nothing can really compete with its natural phat VCO's.
the only synth that is phater is the Minimoog.
I always EQ/filter out the low end, it is massive on the Pulse plus.
I love the older roland etc but they are thin compared to the pulse.

please correct me if I'm wrong here.
