Hey Tom
I've got also the Pulse plus
It is a great synth but it is Mono
while the AN1X is poly like 10 mono synths !
The Pulse plus sounds a little like my minimoog but different
it is capable of being too phat -if it's possible.
as it have 3 analog VCO's/oscilators.
I wish it had all sliders and polyphony.
In my hubmble view,
the AN1x sounds totaly unique and can compete
every day with any other synth on cool sounds.
It is one of the best VA I have ever heard.

by the way,
after talking to a tech,
I found out that there are some features and upgrades on the pulse plus
not available on the regular pulse.
