The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

This should be an easy fix, but here's what's going on.
I have a midi clock signal from either cakewalk or my 505 going into 
the AN1x.  In order to play a sequence on the anx i reduce the midi 
tempo switch all the way down until it reads "midi".  Now if press 
any of the keys the arp or seq I get a single note, but no sequence.  

Yes i have the  receive channel set to the correct setting, (not that 
it should matter for a clock signal)

The only way i can get it to work is by shutting off the power and 
restarting.  The settings remain, but now i can play a sequence in 
time.

Has anyone had this problem?  Is there a work around?
