As probobly known, pressing the Hold pedal during a Sequence or Arpeggio
which is not set up from the matrix as held (bold HOLD shows up in panel
when in hold mode), will NOT cause the pattern to continue.  I suppose the
designer's assumptions were based on changing a note in HOLD mode would be
what most musicians would call for to switch the pattern.  What I'm looking
for is a way to stop the pattern externally and then begin the same pattern
again without a lot of button pushes.
