im sick of the Mac Vs PC discussion.....everything you've heard is bullshit 
about which is better-it comes down to how much money you have and what you 
like.....you can have a better mac thats better than most PC's if you have 
$5000 and visa versa......the only time i ever had problems with windows is 
when *i* didnt know how to use it properly (with the exception of crashing 
once in a while, which happens the same amount of the time with Mac-trust me, 
i work in a studio with about 50 of G3's and G4's)

and your little comment about drivers-wahhhh, so i gotta go download a 500k 
file, woopdie do!  at least i dont have to upgrade my OS ever 10 minutes 
(so....how is OSX anyways? AHHAHAHHAHAHHA)


Now, on to Beta and VHS.....

the Beta that he is talking about is for production, not home use....Beta 
*IS* much better than VHS and is used by most news crews, etc (that arent 
using DV)....The quality is much better due to the fact that it's much wider 
than VHS, you can fit more info onto it....it's kinda like the difference 
between 16mm and 35mm in film...
