Re: AN1x diskette ?

2000-11-04 by jondl@jdlx-musique.com

That's the problem - the Voices documented in the Voice Setup Guide are
not all in one sound bank that was ever posted to the web! :-/ I'd
assumed they were the Voices in the 'Quickdisk Tutorial Set' but they
are not. I was looking over a number of Yamaha Voice banks last night
and it seems to me many of the Voices in the Setup Guide are actually
in the More Voices folder http://www.jdlx-musique.com/support/an1x/
downloads/voices2.zip

These are all .MID I believe and they're pretty good too! Of course,
you could always prgram them from scratch just for practice.

On a related note, I was playing with the MIDLANDS set and noticed in
the Read Me file that the were created by 'Mark Bell'. Is that THE Mark
Bell of LFO and Bjork fame?

I also noticed that the 'Template' .MID in the 'Quickdisk Tutorial Set'
has a large number of preprogrammed OSC settings to help you get the
'classic' analog vibe going, i.e., dozens of sync and PW setting
examples. Need to play with that some more...

regards,
Jon
