The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Even though Gary's made a fine editor program, I only really use it for the
librarian feature. With all due respect, I'm into tweaking the front panel
knobs to get my sound (I'm just old school).

But what I want to know is, is it possible to tweak a sound on the AN1x and
then use AN1x edit to "grab" it and save it in an An1x edit bank? I've
tried the "Store Current" feature but it only stores a sound into the
editor if it's already saved onto the synth's RAM. I basically want to use
the editor to grab these sounds from the edit buffer so I can place them in
my onboard AN1x patch bank at a later date.

Can this be done?
