Sounds like you bought the wrong synth! I have all of these sounds in my Emu sample library; if you don't already have a sampler you might consider picking one up. Otherwise, a Roland D-50 and/or a DX7 can be had for pretty cheap and would cover this territory pretty well. Korg Z1 costs an arm & a leg but would give you excellent results.
