Normally I would advise CC11 for this purpose too. However the host MU unit
responds to CC11 on the XG part (again adjudting the MU mixer return value
for that part and thus muddying the situation)....so its not a good CC to
choose for what the guy wanted to do with PLG150AN.

Therefore I would still advise the use of CC2 or some other controller that
XG does not respond to!
