Edwards, Ed shared with us: > > >I find it slightly worrying that I never saw any attachment... > > Do you have any virus trappers running? It may have been filtered. Nope, I don't trust them. They make your system less stable, and they cost some performance (which is not a good thing when you want to do synchronised audio stuff). Maybe Outlook Express under Windows NT doesn't see them, or stuff like that. Apart from that, my computer won't boot now. But as I see it, that's because I installed some UltraATA tool which I shouldn't have in the first place, because I don't have such an interface (only the drive). I did buy a PLextor CD-rewriter, though. > AN1x related: Has anyone ever found that only one audio channel is > available, and then after a couple of resets it comes back? It happened to > me, and I'm just wondering if I've got a hardware or software issue.... I have it as well, especially after the AN1x has been on for a while. Only the left channel works then; incidently, the same channel that puts out a nasty spike when you swith the AN1x on or off (at least, mine does). Say, it's been on for quite a bit, and then you play. Then there's some noise in the right channel, until it dies completely. I haven't figured out what exactly brings it back. - Peter
