"The Behringer mixers are pretty good, very low noise and lot's of features and a very small price.... some say Mackies are better, but for price - quality i think Behringer is very good. There's also other alternatives like soundcraft spirit, though they're in the mackie pricerane too." Mackie is good, but also too expensive for my blood right now...the behringer will just be kind of a "just for now type deal....like i said i'm not even looking for a crapload of features, more or less just volume and EQ and simple stuff like that so i don't need some elaborate mixer.... "While I know that Behringer mixers are certainly affordable, I've heard from more than 1 reliable source that they are of shoddy build quality. " Hmmmm, well i don't really plan on moving it or banging it around much, but i do plan on using it during live shows so i don't know, i guess i'll have to do a bit more research on it.... can anyone suggest something decent and inexpensive besides mackie? I'll check out the soundspirit and see what's up with that.... Thank you guys for your input, ash
