The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

I owned a Studiologic sledge - the interface was great - like a minimoog, the sound was...feh  - it is a cheaper Waldorf engine - I didn't care for the sound.  Have a Dave Smith Prophet 08 PE - good interface, good sound, missing effects so you'd need outboard FX.  I also own an Alesis Ion, Novation Supernova 2, Yamaha MOX6, still have the minimoog...and my past keys were: Oberheim FVS, Roland Fantom, JX-8P, Nord Lead 2X, Virus TI2,among others... I'd have to say the AN1X sounds great in comparison with these - the AN1X interface is only okay - but it does a great job of emulating the classic analog stuff as well as some digital things...love this  keyboard.
