The pots do tend to get wonky over time, especially the ones that you twist a lot. I would say they're one of the weaker points in the build quality of the AN1X. That said, I was able to order replacement parts by simply calling Yamaha (it was Yamaha Canada in my case). I explained to the very helpful tech person on the phone what I was after; she looked up the part number and had it sent out to me by express post the next day. I then gave the replacement part and the keyboard to a local tech to install--it was no problem.
Hope this helps!

Try some electronic contact cleaner like KF or similar sold in every DIY electronics shop. Spray it inside the pot, rotate it 10 - 20 times, wipe out the excess, let dry... done .

Hi all,My 6th pot is malfunctioning. Only when I push, hold and rotate does the value change. And its not a smooth change, Its pretty erratic. Anyone have this same problem? Ive opened the AN1X and explored the different components and it looks like the top 4 pots are on one board and the second board on another. Anyone know if I can get these two boards from yamaha or anywhere else? Thanks for your help,ClintonSorry if this posted twice, something funny happens when I press send.
