I want to know if I&#39;ll require a sound card for my laptop, in addition to an audio interface, to get quality recording from midi data from a VSA playing my AN1X. 
 
I&#39;m on a pretty tight budget right now, and just want to develop a reliable way to interface my AN1X and an s-1 electribe with my laptop.
