Thanks, Jeff! I kept tinkering with it, after my post, and eventually
got it to work. I pushed the "Store" button and "Yes" after every
single action I took, including a final one, on the voice itself.
Somewhere in there, it worked. I believe my problem was that
earlier, my understanding was that while you are on the voice patch,
storing voices to scenes would automatically associate those scenes
with the currently selected voice patch. But, it now makes sense
that, even though you're not prompted to do so, you still need to
select "Store" one final time on the voice patch, so that it will
overwrite everything else, and accept your Scene assignments as being
associated with this voice patch.
Yes, as I delve further into the manual's sections which cover
modulation and step sequencing, I'm also finding it's not as clear as
some of the other sections. I'm off to a good start, though! I will
do more reading of the manual, the Mailing List posts, Google, and
hands-on experimenting!
