The trouble with synthesizers is they die. A 50 year old Strat is worth a fortune. My Vintage Keys Module is a door stop. I want a keyboard with jacks and knobs mounted to the metal case, a keyboard with a handful of good sounds, that doesn't cost $2000.00, doesn't play itself with one finger, and will last 50 years. That and a MoPho.
